HABA Hunger was established with a commitment to addressing hunger and supporting vulnerable children, families and communities.
Over time, our work has expanded beyond food assistance to include community support, skills development and empowerment programs.
We believe that addressing immediate needs is important, but creating opportunities for people to become more resilient and self-sufficient is equally important.
Today, HABA Hunger works with communities, volunteers, donors and partners to develop practical initiatives that respond to identified needs and create meaningful impact.

Why Our Work Matters
Hunger and food insecurity continue to affect millions of families in Nigeria. UNICEF reports that around 11 million children under five — about 1 in 3 children — experience severe child food poverty, putting them at greater risk of malnutrition.
At Habahunger, we provide nutritious food assistance to families experiencing food insecurity. Beyond immediate food support, we provide skills training and help families start small businesses and build sustainable sources of income.
We address hunger today while empowering families toward a more secure and sustainable future.

Our Founding Team
Meet the Founders
Dami Oyesanya
Oyesanya is one of the co-founders of HABA Hunger. Currently working as a Logistics Specialist, she has extensive experience in business management, freight forwarding and logistics. HABA Hunger leverages her experience and knowledge of human resources planning, management and logistics to develop strategic results-oriented programs.
Lolade Agidigbi
Agidigbi is the Vice President of R&D and Process Development of an innovative contract manufacturing company. She has outstanding knowledge in business strategy formulation and process implementation. As HABA Hunger's co-founder, Agidigbi provides unmatched leadership in project formulation and implementation.
